Anna Zhen
Anna is currently a doctoral student at St. John’s University studying School Psychology. She has had an extensive educational background including graduating from Indiana University with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from The University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in Psychology. Anna is an author of multiple research articles that have been published in scholarly journals. She has accumulated many years of research in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience labs. She has recently received an award for her research proposal to the Student Grant Competition from the Association of Psychological Sciences.
With regard to teaching, Anna has worked with learners from various socioeconomic and language backgrounds for over 10 years. She has taught in both public and private settings in New York, Chicago, and Shanghai. Anna has taught students from elementary school to adult English Language Learners to read, speak, and write in English. Anna is particularly interested in teaching people how to become better writers and walking along with students as they learn the skills and approaches that would help them best communicate their ideas.
As a coach, Anna is excited to work with students of all ages to help equip them with the skills that they would need to learn and achieve their personal and educational goals.
