Organized College Transition Program
Summer Workshop
Starting college is an exciting leap forward on your educational journey. Increased independence and responsibilities can be empowering but can also be a difficult or radical change for those struggling with Executive Function or ADHD. The structures and support from high school may not be as effective or possible in college.
At Connect To Learn, we specialize in Executive Function and ADHD Coaching which can help students strengthen academic and life skills. Join us this summer for a week-long workshop to become more confident and organized for your upcoming transition to college.
The Organized College Transition Program
Who? Rising 1st-year or current college students
What? Skill-building workshop & discussion
Where? Virtual Zoom sessions
When? Five 90-minute sessions
Option A: Group coaching sessions are currently scheduled for 10:30am-12pm ET, Monday - Friday for every week of July 2024. More groups and times will be added based on interest so let us know your ideal schedule!
Option B: One-on-one coaching sessions can be scheduled directly with a coach anytime before 9/1/24.
Why? Collaborate with coaches and peers to develop Executive Function skills and start your first semester feeling more confident, connected, and coordinated.
During this week-long workshop facilitated by experienced ADHD & Executive Function coaches, students will discuss and develop skills around time and task management, organization, self-awareness and emotion regulation, academic strategies, and more. Although the college transition is a unique milestone for each individual, many students experience similar concerns so the group coaching option is flexibly designed to include peer-to-peer conversation and collaboration.
All students will receive a workbook with exercises, templates, and information that can support them through this transition and be a useful resource throughout the school year.

Individual coaching can also be helpful in addition to or instead of group coaching. Goals and pacing are more flexible and customized; this can include a mix of academic tutoring and Executive Function coaching and sessions can be scheduled more flexibly.
